WRX VB First Mods Checklist (2022+)
The most common beginner mistake is modding without a plan. Order matters more than any single product choice.

Start with tires, exhaust, and shifter mods, then move to handling, then build power with a clear tune path.
Why order matters
Wrong sequencing creates duplicate labor, replaced parts, and unnecessary spend. Good planning avoids buying the same category twice.
Phase 1 foundation
No-tune, high-value upgrades first: tires for grip and safety, exhaust based on daily tolerance, and shifter feel improvements.
Phase 2 and 3
Move into wheels and suspension once goals are clear. Then start power with intake/intercooler/tune strategy as one coordinated path.
Checklist before buying
Define daily vs weekend use, target power, and total budget before buying parts. Planned builds consistently outperform rushed builds.
