AMS Performance designed this stock-location top-mount intercooler for every 2022+ Subaru WRX submodel with the FA24 turbo engine. Its cast end tanks feed a 21 x 7.5 x 4-inch bar-and-plate core; AMS advertises a 71 percent increase in core size and a 48.6-degree-Fahrenheit reduction in outlet temperature in its testing. The kit reuses the factory mounting location and installs without cutting or permanent modification. It works with the original charge pipe and most aftermarket pipes that retain the stock-style intercooler connection. This record is specifically for part AMS.50.09.0001-1. The intercooler does not change MAF scaling by itself, though any calibration should still match the complete engine hardware and boost targets.
