The COBB Shift Plate replaces the transmission-side factory linkage plate to shorten the WRX's shift throw without changing shifter height. Two cable attachment positions provide approximately 15% or 35% reduction, while the 825-gram plate keeps rotational inertia close to the stock component for an OEM-like engagement weight. Its slim zinc-plated steel design retains the factory splash guard and heat shields, and the pivot hardware uses stainless steel. COBB confirms part 244320 for 2015-2026 WRX manual-transmission models, including the 2024 TR. Installation is performed from underneath the vehicle and requires safely supporting the transmission. The plate is a mechanical driver-feel upgrade and requires no calibration.
