The COBB Shifter Bushing replaces the rubber isolator at the transmission end of the WRX shift cable. An aluminum carrier and low-friction IGUS polymer bearing reduce fore-and-aft compliance while retaining the original shift cable, producing a firmer and more direct linkage feel. Part 244300 is confirmed by COBB for 2015-2026 WRX manual-transmission models, including the 2024 TR. Installation takes place beneath the car: the cable shield and retaining hardware are removed before the factory rubber insert is extracted and the new carrier is secured. This bushing can be installed alone or paired with COBB's shift plate and shifter stop. It does not apply to SPT/CVT cars and requires no tune.
