The COBB Shifter Stop mounts at the cabin shifter assembly to reduce side-to-side movement in the 1st/2nd and 5th/6th gear gates. Its fiberglass-reinforced nylon stops adjust independently, allowing the driver to remove excess factory play while retaining clean engagement into every gear and reverse. Installation requires removal of the shift knob and boot, followed by careful gate adjustment and a final check through the complete shift pattern. COBB confirms part 244600 for 2015-2026 WRX manual-transmission applications, including the 2024 TR, and states that it works with both the factory and OEM STI short-throw shifters. It is not an SPT/CVT component and does not require tuning.
