Price History
COBB's black top-mount intercooler kit replaces the factory VB WRX intercooler while retaining the stock top-mount layout and charge-pipe connection. It uses a 20-by-7-by-4-inch Garrett core, cast aluminum end tanks, reinforced couplers, and a COBB thrust tunnel that seals to the factory hood duct. The larger core is intended to improve charge-air cooling and consistency without the extra piping of a front-mount system. COBB lists 2022–2026 WRX fitment, including manual and CVT applications, and states that tuning changes are not required: the intercooler can run on the stock Subaru calibration or a compatible COBB Stage 1 map. Installation is direct replacement but requires careful coupler, O-ring, and duct alignment.
