GrimmSpeed’s DRY-CON panel filter is a washable, reusable replacement for the disposable paper filter in the factory 2022+ Subaru WRX airbox. Part GRM060089 uses dry filter media, so it does not require filter oil, and it retains the original airbox, intake tract, and mass-airflow housing. This is a maintenance-oriented drop-in filter rather than a complete cold-air intake; airflow and sound changes should be expected to be modest. Because the factory MAF housing and metered airflow path remain in place, no calibration change is required for the filter alone. Remove the filter for cleaning according to GrimmSpeed’s care guidance, allow it to dry completely, and reinstall it with the sealing edge seated evenly in the airbox.
