Overtake Driveshaft Lockdown Kit WRX | A10560

Overtake part A10560 clamps around the factory driveshaft center-support carrier to reduce its movement under acceleration, shifting, and load changes. The two-piece 6061-T6 aluminum assembly retains the original carrier rather than replacing the bearing or cutting its rubber support. It is sold for 2008-2026 WRX applications, including the VB chassis. A more constrained carrier can make driveline response feel more direct, but it can also transmit additional vibration or noise into the cabin; worn driveshaft joints or bearings should be repaired rather than masked with a lockdown. Installation is performed beneath the car with the exhaust and heat shielding potentially limiting access. Center the clamp carefully, use the supplied hardware, and verify that the driveshaft rotates without contact.
