Subaru accessory J2010VC000 adds a hinged height extension above the factory center-console lid on 2022-2026 WRX models with the six-speed manual transmission. It provides a higher resting surface while retaining access to the console storage compartment. The transmission restriction matters: GT/SPT/CVT interiors use a different console and electronic parking-brake arrangement, and Subaru does not list this part for them. Subaru also identifies a conflict with the console-lid protector, which occupies the same lid surface. This is the standard upholstered extension rather than the separate Ultrasuede version. Installation is an interior trim and hinge job using the supplied hardware; protect the console surfaces, keep small fasteners out of the storage cavity, and verify that the lid and extension open, latch, and clear the handbrake normally.
