The Tactrix Openport 2.0 is a USB (Mini-B) J2534 pass-through interface that connects a laptop to a vehicle's OBD-II port. It is a hardware interface only: it holds no calibration and does no tuning by itself. NAMR lists the Openport 2.0 in the current Atlas supported-device documentation, with datalogging at roughly 60-100 Hz and typical flash times of one to five minutes on supported WRX ECUs. Tactrix drivers must be installed on the host computer before Atlas will detect the adapter. Tactrix also distributes the Openport 2.0 for its own free EcuFlash software and as a generic SAE J2534 interface for OEM reflashing applications. Availability is a live concern. Tactrix lists the Openport 2.0 at $169 and currently shows it as temporarily out of stock, and has announced that a replacement Openport 3.0 is in manufacturing. Confirm current stock and price with Tactrix before planning a purchase around it.
