Whiteline's KDT901 Positive Shift Kit adds four polyurethane inserts to the factory gearbox crossmember bushings rather than replacing the complete transmission mount. Filling the large voids in the original rubber reduces crossmember movement under load and gives the manual shifter a more direct response. Whiteline specifies the kit for manual models and supplies four bushings, grease, and an installation guide. A Subaru-specialist retailer confirms 2008-2026 WRX fitment, including all current VB model years, along with several earlier Subaru applications. Installation is performed beneath the vehicle; Whiteline estimates two hours and recommends a suspension specialist. Some additional drivetrain vibration or gear noise is possible. The kit does not affect engine calibration and requires no tune.
